01 February 2002
As of 1 Feb 2002 the research institute Global Forest Science is pleased to
announce that it has opened a branch office in Banff, Alberta - the
heart of Canada's oldest National Park. "It makes a great deal of
sense that Global Forest be located in Banff, we have several key
forest biological initiatives in the Rocky Mountain trench", says
founder and President Dr. Reese Halter. "Furthermore, we have made a
long term commitment to this region and as such we will be more
involved in numerous aspects of forest conservation in the ensuing
years", says Dr. Halter.
Tuscon and Banff-based Global Forest Science ( www.globalforestscience.org) is a forest biology research institute.
