RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. International mimest, goodwill ambassador for the
United Nations, recipient of France's Order of Merit and Honorary
Director of Global Forest Science Marcel Marceau passed away peacefully
on September 22, 2007. Marceau's famous character Bip was a constant
source of entertainment for audiences around the globe for six decades.
"He will be sorely missed around our boardroom table and by the
children of our planet," says founder of Global Forest Society Dr Reese
Halter. Marcel Marceau was particularly involved with the children
ecological education program at GFS.
